Daycare & Boarding
All-Star Pet Care prides itself on providing quality daycare and boarding services to Chicago. To ensure that we are providing a safe and fun atmosphere for your dog, we have established strict policies that all dog daycare or dog boarding clients must adhere to. These policies ensure All-Star, you and other dog daycare/boarding clients that our furry friends are well taken care of.
Please review the following policies carefully before applying for dog daycare or boarding services. Once you’ve read the policies, use the new client inquiry form to get started!

Your dog MUST be temperament tested before being admitted for Daycare/Boarding. We do not schedule/imply any dates of service prior to the temperament test.
We do not schedule temperament tests until all vaccination information (as listed below) is received.
We must have a Vaccination Certificate faxed from your vet before being allowed into the facility for temperament testing. Please DO NOT send complete records.
**Information required per city and state licensing is: rabies, distemper, parvo, bordatella and clean stool sample, all current within one year**
All dogs must be fixed. Exceptions can be made at our discretion for male puppies up to 8 months who are waiting to get fixed. All female dogs MUST be fixed prior to entering the facility.
Please ask your vet to fax us the required vaccination information. Give us a call about an hour after you have requested your vet fax us this information. We will then confirm the information is up to date and schedule your temperament test.
Please allow at least 4 days to set up an appointment for a temperament test. We prefer to do the test between 11a-5p. We do not temperament test on weekends.
The temperament test takes approximately 20 minutes. It consists of us introducing your dog to 5-7 other dogs one at a time to ensure everyone plays well together. Dogs who hump excessively, bare teeth, snarl, growl, potty inside, or who exhibit other non-friendly/nervous behavior may be turned away from service. Your dog must potty prior to entering the facility. We may not be able to tell you immediately if your dog passes the test. We may require 1-2 days to discuss your dog’s behavior internally before we make a decision.
We may require your dog to come in for a trial day after the temperament test, at your expense, before we make our decision to provide you with service.
Service is not provided the same day as the temperament test.
We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.
We DO NOT take walk-in Daycare. All Star must always be contacted prior to service to ensure space for your dog to come play!
Our minimum Daycare service requirement is ONE day per week.
We do not feed dogs who come for Daycare. Puppies up to 9 months are the exception, we can feed them lunch if you provide it.
Please bring your dog in with a tight fitting collar with a name tag and home/cell phone number on it, and a reliable leash.
If you like a different method of leashing your dog besides a traditional collar, please do NOT bring a gentle leader. Prong collars or ‘Easy Walk’ or other harnesses are preferred.
We may not be able to provide you with boarding service if you are not currently signed up for weekly Daycare/Boarding service.
Dogs being Boarded must be checked in by 1pm.
*Dogs being boarded only sleep outside of crates at the discretion of management.
